The Student Ambassador Program at Kelly Lane Middle School empowers students to lead and represent their peers. Ambassadors foster a positive school culture, assist new students, and participate in community events, building leadership skills and enhancing their middle school experience.

As a former student, current staff, and current parent in this district; I can’t say enough good things about the people I’ve come in contact with over the years. All of my teachers when I was a student were amazing and went above and beyond to help and be there for us. So much so, that a lot of the people I graduated with (myself included) are now friends with them.

The Library is hosting monthly button challenges to help students broaden their reading horizons. Each month has a different theme. After students read a book that matches the theme, they complete the challenge on Beanstack and earn a button! So far, students have completed challenges for Graphic Novels (741.5), Deaf Awareness, Hispanic Heritage Month, and Spooky Reads. Students have earned 246 buttons with no signs of slowing down! November’s challenge is Nonfiction November.

Pflugerville ISD is proud to announce that Mr. Henry Castellanos has been approved as the new principal of Wilhelmina Delco Elementary School. A Pflugerville ISD graduate, Castellanos brings a wealth of experience as a bilingual educator and campus leader, most recently serving as Assistant Principal at Hornsby-Dunlap Elementary.

We understand that the ongoing federal government shutdown may be creating financial stress and uncertainty for many of our families, particularly those who receive SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits, have not received work checks or been furloughed during the federal shutdown, or are part of our military-connected community.

The Pflugerville Education Foundation (PEF) has announced the appointment of Karl I. Spencer, a seasoned nonprofit and education leader, as its new executive director, following the approval by the Pflugerville ISD (PfISD) School Board. Spencer will officially step into the role on November 3, 2025.
